Both Barleria montana<\/i> and B. prattensis<\/i> are morphologically similar, hence often confusing. I remember collecting Barleria montana<\/i> from Paruvathamalai hills. The seeds in this species are hairy. If you see glabrous seeds, then it could be B. prattensis<\/i>.
