Looks like Beloperone guttata but also looks like JUSTICIA BRANDEGEANA are they synonymous or is there any difference

Yes .., you are correct on both counts. Beloperone is synonym of Justicia Brandegeana, which was uploaded today separately today by .. from India and me from California

This plant seems to be the cultivar of Justicia Brandegeana known as ‘Yellow Queen’, common name Yellow Shrimp plant

Around 4-5 feet tall flower size similar to Adhatoda.

Acanthaceae species?

May be Pachystachys lutea or its cultivar

…It looks like Justicia brandegeana (Shirmp Plant) rather than Pachystachys lutea (Golden Shrimp plant). The flowers here, have some red shade in them and also d projecting white flowers have distinctive marking ( which r absent in Golden shirmp plant).

Yes … you are right. I also had this doubt because this plant came up during Acanthaceae week, but some how forgot this name. Thanks for reminding.

Yes this is not Pachystachys. I remember when I was in school but still interested in plants, and I used to collect plants for my garden. I went to our nursery and asked him the name of the plant, He said CHESIS PACHIS…. It took me years to understand what he meant!!! 🙂

Yes for the ID, but do we need to go for cultivar name? Though similar images in toptropicals or a few other sites have been labelled as such particular cultivar, we do not know if our climate would suit those particular cultivars. Better have a look at –
