Callistemon species have now been transferred to the genus Melaleuca by Australian botanists and most information is now related to Melaleuca. This might help if you are looking at the excellent online resources for the Australian Flora.<\/p>\n

There\u00a0is no sp. such as Callistemon villosus ( Y=I ?) \u00a0and did not appear in \u00a0IPNI, POWO, GBIF and CoL.<\/div>\n

However, the sp. looks matching to\u00a0<\/span>Melaleuca hislopii\u00a0<\/i>Craven & R.D.Edwards syn: Calothamnus villosus\u00a0<\/i>R.Br.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Many species from Australia look similar by checking on net.<\/div>\n
I think calyx holds the keys, which is not clear here.<\/div>\n
