May be Ipomoea<\/font><\/span><\/font> calophylla<\/span> Fenzl. Syn: <\/span>Ipomoea<\/span> <\/span>dichroa<\/font><\/span><\/font> <\/span>of Convol<\/i>\u200bvulaceae<\/i> family. <\/span> <\/font><\/p>\n

Reddish twining stem without hair; heart shaped and trilobed leaves without hair approx dimensions 10-11cms X 7-8 cms cms; hairy calyx basally; pink to brown hairy capsule<\/font>; could not find an open flower, was entangled with another climber and covered with many insects<\/font><\/p>\n

Can it be Ipomoea triloba<\/i>?<\/font><\/p>\n

The plant looks to be definitely in series batatas and most likely Ipomoea cordatotriloba<\/i> or less likely something very closely related.
The entire description is that of Ipomoea cordatotriloba<\/i> and the sepals and capsule fit Ipomoea cordatotriloba<\/i> exactly.<\/font><\/p>\n
