This plant was seen growing at a height of\u00a0nearly 2500 mtrs at Triund.<\/span>
\nPlease help in identifying it.<\/p>\n

How about\u00a0Stellaria aquatica<\/i>?<\/p>\n

My guess,\u00a0Stellaria graminea<\/i>, because of the narrow leaves.<\/p>\n

I think we will have to work more deeply on this plant. The petals are deeply divided, and probably it can’t be\u00a0Cerastium<\/i>. Capsules are not visible, so difficult to decide. It is definitely not\u00a0Stellaria aquatica<\/i>, which I had photographed in Manali and quite distinct.\u00a0S. montioides<\/i>\u00a0(correct name for\u00a0S. graminea<\/i>) has very narrow leaves, not more than 3 mm broad. I suspect it may turn out to be\u00a0S. patens<\/i>\u00a0(syn:\u00a0S. longissima<\/i>).<\/p>\n

I request … to kindly upload some more photographs, especially if any with fruits, and with side view of flowers.<\/p>\n

I am sorry but i don’t have any more pictures than the ones i posted.
\nNext time when i am in Himachal. if i am lucky enough to stay till early monsoon then i will surely get some more pictures and will surely post them.<\/p>\n
