Location- Place, Altitude, GPS- Bannerghatta Forest, Bangalore,\u00a0elev 3039 ft,\u00a0<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

12″ 46′ \u00a012.97″N, \u00a077″35′ 13.99″E<\/font>\u00a0<\/font><\/p>\n

Habitat- Garden\/ Urban\/ Wild\/ Type-Wild \/ Moist deciduous, Rock hills<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Plant Habit- Tree\/ Shrub\/ Climber\/ Herb-No hard stems, Probably a herbHeight\/Length-approx –\u00a040 cms<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Leaves Type\/ Shape\/ Size- Shape\u00a0–Palmated, \u00a0 venation -reticulate, leaf edge-entire, Size -Bigger than our palm,.8 inches approx.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Inflorescence Type\/ Size-As seen<\/font><\/p>\n

Flowers Size\/ Colour\/ Calyx\/ Bracts-As seen<\/font><\/p>\n

Fruits Type\/ Shape\/ Size Seeds- Not observed<\/font><\/p>\n

Other Information like Fragrance, Pollinator, Uses etc.- Not observed<\/font><\/p>\n

To me it appears to be some\u00a0Begonia <\/i>species.?<\/p>\n
\n

<\/i><\/span>to me it appears like sapling of the tree Cochlospermum religiosum<\/i>, though i am not very sure. And the white structure is hairy tomentum on young foliage, not an inflorescence. I haven’t observed this feature in the species so far. Thank you.<\/p>\n
