Impatiens<\/i>\u00a0have always been difficult for me. They are difficult to dissect in dried specimens thus identification is problematic. By seeing pics only\u00a0this species also resemble to\u00a0I.stenantha<\/i><\/span>\u00a0but I have very little ground in\u00a0Impatiens<\/i>.<\/p>\n

This looks like something close to <\/span>I. drepanophora<\/b>\u00a0or\u00a0<\/span>I. longipes<\/b> (see upcurved spur), but this group of species is particularly difficult and little known.
\n<\/span>Are flowers pure yellow? How high was plants? Is this annual or perennial?
\n<\/span>One of dividing features between\u00a0<\/span>I. drepanophora<\/b>\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0I. longipes<\/b>\u00a0are glandular tips of beak in mouth of lower sepal and lateral sepals. I don\u2019t see this detail good enough on your pictures, however\u2026\u00a0<\/span>Whole flower looks like 2-2,5 cm long<\/span> \u2013 is my estimation correct?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I am sorry for not being able to give full information, the flower was completely yellow (however, some specimens from a different location show purple streaks on the upcurved spur),<\/span>\u00a0plant was about 1-1.2 ft. high, most probably annual..<\/span> your estimation about flowers size is also right..
\n<\/span>Some high resolution cropped pics are attached, if they are of any help..<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Thank you for your reply sir. But I have seen Impatiens resemosa, which has a hood-like upper petal. Actually I was confused between Impatiens stenantha<\/em> and Impatiens drepanophora<\/em>, which I thought it may be, though I am not sure about these two. Please review your id sir.<\/p>\n
