Yes i agree with …, it could be Melanocenchris abyssinica<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

This is Melanocenchris jacquemontii<\/i>. This is the most common species of this genus in India.<\/span> M.monoica<\/i> is perennial, whereas M.abyssinica<\/i> has larger spikelet clusters.<\/span> This plant is only 7cm in all and hence the spikelets are definitely less than a cm. including the awns.<\/span><\/p>\n
