Stem 2-4 cm long. Leaves 10-15 x 0.4 cm, linear, keeled, bilobed at apex. Flowers pink, in 10-20 cm long, rarely branched racemes; dorsal sepal 3-3.5 x 2 mm, elliptic, bimucronate at apex, 3-veined; lateral sepals 4 x 2.9 mm, broadly obovate, acute, 3-veined; petals 3 x 1.5 mm, oblong-elliptic, obtuse, 3-veined; lip 6 x 3 mm, ovate-lanceolate, obtuse, 5-veined, with 2 collateral spurs.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Thank you very much for the ID suggestion of my Orchid, it’s flower is smaller than C. peduncularis<\/em>, but very close.\u00a0 My ID #77 is of C. peduncularis<\/em> identified by you.<\/p>\n

Cottonia peduncularis<\/em> has very long peduncles inflorescence axis about \u00a060 to 70 cm & then Cottonia<\/em> has only one species so my identification was wrong I have hurried without watching pictures properly<\/p>\n

It is always advisable to please take some time to take pictures, from multiple angles and good closeups.<\/div>\n
Otherwise you wont be able to get your plants identified.
\nI think this is <\/span>Diplocentrum congestum<\/em>, but not easy to make out.<\/span><\/div>\n

Yes, it is, thank you very much for ID my Orchid. Only one individual was growing there too height so that it doesn’t easy to capture in more angles, and raining also, so I spent more time than as usual. Not only this, all flowers are attacked by caterpillar.<\/p>\n
