Also in C. calycina<\/i>, calyx is longer than pod, here it is less than half as long. May be if some one gives a list of species reported from Eastern Ghats, this species can be identified. Features are very clear from photgraphs, but I find it difficult to look up the key of 77 species from FBI<\/p>\n

I think it is\u00a0Crotalaria evolvuloides<\/i>. In C. prostrata<\/i> the pods are glabrous.<\/span> And it is not C. calycina<\/i> for sure. According to Gamble, the leaves of C. evolvuloides<\/i> are very variable, from oblong, lanceolate to even orbicular.<\/span><\/p>\n

Flowers appear to be pale yellow. If this flowering is in December then it should be Crotalaria labunifolia<\/i>. Confirmation required.<\/p>\n
