Sir, it is most probably Justicia khasiana<\/i> (Acanthaceae<\/i>)<\/p>\n

Justicia khasiana<\/i>\u00a0is a syn. of\u00a0\u00a0Justicia mollissima<\/i><\/b><\/span>\u00a0(Nees) Y. F. Deng & T. F. Daniel as per <\/span>Flora of China<\/span><\/a>
\n<\/span><\/span>I could not find any suitable image or illustration to verify it.<\/span><\/div>\n

You have to match with previous herbarium specimen. I think it will match with J. mollissima<\/i><\/b>. (=J. khasiana<\/i>).<\/p>\n

which is also found in NE India till altitudes of 1500 m (which is consistent with Shillong), apart from Western Ghats.<\/p>\n

To me images of Justicia procumbens<\/a> at efi site look different. Pl. see images of Justicia <\/span>neesii<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/span> Ramamoorthy<\/span> at efi site.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

There is a lot of confusion with different sources saying different things.
\nPl. also see\u00a0 <\/span>Flora of Pakistan<\/span><\/a>\u00a0along with <\/span>The Plant List Ver. 1.1<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n

Why so much confusion? Different pages showing different accepted names.
\nHowever, I guess J. simplex, J. japonica<\/i> and J. procumbens<\/i> seems to be same\u00a0and according to the CoL which I am following J. simplex<\/i> is the accepted name.
