The problem is manifold to me for this plant, rather the issue of “hyssopioides“.

There are-

  1. Ilysanthes hyssopioides Benth., backed by illustrations (a) plate 203 of Coromandel Plants and (b) 857 of Icones

  2. Gratiola hyssopioides of plate 128 of Coromandel Plants, along with plate 859 of Icones Plantarum

And there are descriptions as well as illustrations-

    1. CP plate 128 = FBI Dopatrium lobelioides Benth., having globose capsule = Gratiola hyssopioides of Flora Indica. i. 141., having linear-oblong capsule

    2. the plant, efi thread, referred by … in this thread, looks more like plate 128 (Coromandel Plants) to me

      Relevant plates are attached herewith.

Let’s skip the ID of this plant, in this thread, for the time being. Instead, I try to figure out what is Dopatrium lobelioides Benth.

We have two posts in eFI –

      1) … – efi thread

      2) … – efi thread and there is Flickr a/c – http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=Dopatriumlobelioides&w=91314344@N00&m=tags&z=m

There is a 3rd post. by me, irrelevant here, i have already posted info-plates in this thread.

One more time i paste the url of what efI has labelled as Ilysanthes hyssopioides (L.) Benth. – efi thread.

I pray … permission for modifying (magnifying) part of his uploaded photographs. And i attach the same herewith. I also attach relevant entries from Icones and Flora Indica (on Gratiola lobelioides).

The DATA I find from all these documents (excluding illustrations plates of Icones, Coromandel) –
