Sorry, the photos of this Polystichum<\/i> are very poor and do not show the basal half of the frond straight on, while young fronds do not show anything.\u00a0 We need to see clearly the scales on the stipe together with the lowest half of the frond in a mature frond.\u00a0 I assume it is P. manmeiense<\/i>, which occurs there – but the photos don’t show it properly.<\/div>\n
I’d suggest sending good photos to me for identification first before uploading all these onto a website.\u00a0 Also I’d suggest visiting the herbarium at Godavary in the usual way where all the species are separated and identified.<\/div>\n
If you made a proper herbarium-specimen please send me a photo of that.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
