The plant in the attached photo is Brugmansia sanguinea, syn. Datura sanguinea, is also known as red angel’s trumpet, scarlet angel’s trumpet, scarlet brugmansia or scarlet datura.

This plant is native to South America, and more precisely to Peru.

This shrub can be up to 30 ft (6 m) tall. In colder climates, it will have more modest dimensions.

It mainly blooms in spring and in summer, but in very mild climates it can almost bloom all the year round.

Orange-red flowers are tubular and pendulous.

this plant can’t tolerate heat at all so found mainly in hilly areas in India.

Brugmansia sanguinea, native to high elevations in South America.

It performs much better in cooler (but still relatively frost-free) areas than it does in lowland tropics.
