Hippeastrum puniceum & Hippeastrum reginae- difference<\/a>:
\nThere is confusion between the two. I could get the keys at\u00a0Two new critically endangered species of Hippeastrum (Amaryllidaceae) from the Brazilian Cerrado<\/a>
\n7. \u00a0 Flowers generally campanulate; apex of the tepals salmon or \u00a0orange, rarely \u00a0pink, yellowish \u00a0to green adaxially at their base and forming a circular pattern at the throat ……H. puniceum<\/b>\u00a0(Fig. 6I)
\n\u2013. \u00a0 Flowers infundibuliform; apex of the tepals dark red to carmine, greenish white adaxially at the base with extensions to the middle of the limb ……..H. reginae<\/b> (Fig. 6J).
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Both species are reported from India as per details at Hippeastrum<\/span><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n
Still it appears an uphill task to decipher it.<\/p>\n
