Arctostaphylos hookeri is a species of manzanita<\/span><\/a> known by the common name Hooker’s manzanita<\/b>.
\nArctostaphylos hookeri<\/em> is a low shrub which is variable in appearance and has several subspecies. These are generally mat-forming plants or low bushes<\/span> with small green leaves, dense <\/span>
inflorescences<\/span><\/a> of white to pink flowers, and shiny egg-shaped or round red <\/span>drupes<\/span><\/a>.
\n<\/span>The Arctostaphylos hookeri<\/i> <\/span>
shrub<\/span><\/a> is <\/span>endemic<\/span><\/a> to <\/span>California<\/span><\/a> where its native range extends from the coastal <\/span>San Francisco Bay Area<\/span><\/a> to the <\/span>Central Coast<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
