Wu); Shrubs about 1-3 m tall.<\/span> Bark pale gray brown to pale blackish, branches lenticellate, shoots and branchlets whorled, puberulent with tufted glandular hairs. Leaves simple, opposite, alternate or whorled, obovate-oblanceolate to oblong, about 5-15 x 2-4 cm across, base cuneate to attenuate, margin entire, apex acute to acuminate, coriaceous, shining, glossy, glabrous above, paler beneath, midrib impressed above and slightly prominent beneath, lateral veins about 4-8 pairs, faint on both sides, veinlets finely reticulate, petiole canaliculated, about 5-16 mm long, stipules absent. Inflorescence in pedunculate terminal or pseudoterminal compound umbels, 1-4 flowered, densely pubescent or glabrescent, bracts small, caducous. Flowers bisexual, pale yellow, buds oblong, about 3-4 mm across, pedicels about 5-8 mm long, sepals 5, subequal, lanceolate-ovate, slightly connate at the base, margins minutely ciliate or glabrous, apex subacute, about 3 x 1-1.5 mm across, petals 5, clawed, linear oblong, apex obtuse, usually ligulate, about 8-16 x 2-3 mm across. Stamens 5, free, alternate to petals, filaments glabrous, about 5 mm long, anthers sagittate, dorsifixed, oblong, about 1-1.5 mm long, ovary superior, densely brown tomentose, about 3 mm across, carpels 2-3, ovules 8-10, unilocular with pariental placentae usually equaling the number of carpels, styles glabrous, about 4 mm long, stigma capitate. Fruit capsule, subglobose-oblong, with persistent style, ribbed or wrinkled, dehiscing with 2-3 valves, about 2-3.5 x 1.5 mm across, pericarp thin leathery. Seeds 3-4, oblong-ovoid, about 8 x 5 mm across, irregularly compressed, embedded with resinous pulp, pale reddish orange, attached by funicles after dehiscence.<\/span> I think it is Schoepfia fragrans<\/i><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n I think the plant has been correctly identified as Schoepfia fragrans..<\/i><\/p>\n it has Jasmine like fragrance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Please referb to the link:<\/p>\n Some differences are apparent in flower.
