\nLeaves:\u00a0Leaves simple, opposite, distichous, sometimes subopposite; petiole 0.6-1.3 cm long, canaliculate; lamina 5.5-11 x 3-4 cm, lanceolate, oblong-lanceolate, apex gradually tapering to acuminate with mucronate tip, base attenuate, margin entire, chartaceous, glabrous beneath; midrib canaliculate above; secondary nerves 5-9 pairs, slender; tertiary nerves obscure.<\/span>

I think you must be correct. I checked the leaves’ venation, and I found it matches more to\u00a0gamblei<\/i>\u00a0than to\u00a0perrottetii<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This is very interesting. I was not aware of the specific differences between the two species. Apart from the distinctive leaf shape and venation, the panicles are larger in Ligustrum gamblei<\/em>. According to Biotik fruits should be oblong as opposed to obovoid. … plant seems to match with Ligustrum gamblei<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
