\nTaxonomy of endemic dwarf grass\u00a0Oropetium villosulum Stapf ex Bor, an overlooked\u00a0cohabitant of Oropetium thomaeum\u00a0(L.f.) Trin.<\/a>– Nagaraju Siddabathula, Ravi Kiran Arigela, Rajeev Kumar Singh\u00a0<\/span>& P.V. Prasanna- NeBIO September 2019 <\/span>\u00a010<\/span>(3): 168<\/span><\/span>–174 (Abstract:\u00a0<\/span>The endemic dwarf grass <\/span>Oropetium villosulum\u00a0Stapf ex Bor hitherto known strictly from the Western Ghats of Karnataka and\u00a0Maharashtra is reported here as an addition to the flora of Telangana based on collections from Ranga Reddy, Vikarabad and\u00a0Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts. This species coexists with its closely allied species,\u00a0O. thomaeum\u00a0and both species also produce\u00a0flowers and fruits during the same period. Detailed descriptions and coloured photo plates of dissected microscopic floral parts\u00a0of these two species are provided here to distinguish them unambiguously. Furthermore, lectotype for the name\u00a0O. thomaeum\u00a0<\/span>(L.f.) Trin.
