\nTo me Cordia myxa<\/em> and Cordia dichotoma<\/em> are distinct though I cannot describe the differences if you ask me. One season I had recorded flowers of both and they were different of course. Unripe fruits are used for pickle making and in season (spring) in market it is always fruit of dichotoma,<\/em> never myxa.<\/em> Here is a post on fb comparing flowers of the two species
