Family – Agavaceae. Pics taken on 25/11/11 at 3.00 pm in Bangalore.
Extremely tall. Did not notice fresh flowers in the inflorescence at time of photographing.

Observed this Agave species with huge inflorescence in Kenya near Lake Nakuru.
Planted Ornamental one most probably.
Agave bracteosa?? Agave attenuata?? Or something else? bracteosa as far i can remember has narrower strap like leaves and attenuata has the wider soft non-needly leaves…
were there any needles? if yes it not but I think this does not have needles and hence attennuata and its flowering stalk is very typical of a beloved plant for landscapin adges of gardens in southern california: Agave attenuata common name Foxtail agave No needles then a. attennuata foxtail agave.
