Agrimonia eupatoria subsp. asiatica: Flowers 12-13 mm in diam.; fruiting hypanthium  8-10 x 5 mm including prickles, outer prickles recurved, innermost  spreading; leaflets abaxially pubescent and pilose, adaxially appressed pilose.    
Agrimonia pilosa var. nepalensis : Flowers 6-9 mm in diam.; fruiting hypanthium 7-8 x 3-4 mm including prikles erect when young, connivent when old; leaflets abaxially densely pubescent or tomentose-pubescent between veins, sparsely glandular punctate, adaxially hirsute or hirtellous on veins.”
