Family Apocynaceae Subfamily Asclepiadoideae
I could find this beauty again on Vetal Tekdi Pune after 3 years.
The description given in BSI Mah flora matches very aptly with the pictures.
The total length of the plant I observed is 1 feet. Flower size around 3-4 cm.
Twining herbs.;
Stem terete,
Leaves petiolate, variable,lower ovate,middle ovate-lanceolate,upper lanceolate,acute, ciliate at margins,pilose on both sidea.
Flower few in lateral umbellate cymes.
Peduncles pedicels and calyx hairy.
Corolla depressed inflated at base, funnel shaped above,hairy inside and along margins. Corona biseriate. Outer of 5 deltoid-bifid hairy lobes, inner linear erect.
*Stem is hirsute and corolla tube hairy inside and inner corona hooked at tips

Nice find again. Satara region is really rich in Flora.

Beautiful shots similar to other Ceropegias. There is a Polygala persicaria flower plant also in habit picture.

Habit: A climbing herb 

Habitat: Wild, Dry decidouos forests 

Sighting: Two locations in Hassan District, Karnataka, about 800 msl

… yellow flower is Ceropegia sp. Please send one or two image of each plant with leaves, and twig, then only we can identify the species name.

To me it appears close to images at Ceropegia hirsuta Wight & Arn.
