Yes .. may be right. One can see a dark tipped smaller bracts at the base of larger inner whorl of involucre bracts.  Crassocephalum crepidioides a better choice.

Crassocephalum crepidioides (Benth.) S.Moore (=Gynura crepidioides Benth.) is a fast spreading tropical weed in India. Now not restricted only to tropical parts it has reached up to 1800m (Temperate zone) in Uttarakhand.

Possibly Gynura nitida.


The plant is different but of the same species. The flower buds are just forming. I added this picture to let you have an idea of the leaves.
