This is also a frequent herb of western Himalayas, please suggest if the identification is correct or not, because it closely resembles Justicia procumbens.. Is this Rostellularia crinita or otherwise ? These pics are from Gori valley area… efi page on Justicia procumbens

I am sending herewith the pictures of some plants, collected from Shillong, Meghalaya. It will greatful if these specimens get identified. I think seems to match with images of Justicia neesii Ramamoorthy Sir, it is most probably Justicia khasiana (Acanthaceae) Justicia khasiana is a syn. of Justicia mollissima (Nees) Y. F. Deng & T. F. Daniel as per Flora of China
I could not find any suitable image or illustration to verify it. You have to match with previous herbarium specimen. I think it will match with J. mollissima. (=J. khasiana). This should be Justicia procumbens
http://www.flowersofindia.net/catalog/slides/Water%20Willow.html which is also found in NE India till altitudes of 1500 m (which is consistent with Shillong), apart from Western Ghats. To me images of Justicia procumbens at efi site look different. Pl. see images of Justicia neesii Ramamoorthy at efi site.

I guesssed Justicia simplex D. Don not the J. japonica.
J. neesii is not listed in Nepal.
