Leaves distant, 17 x 4 cm, elliptic, base attenuate, tip acuminate, chartaceous, margin inconspicuously serrate. Racemes terminal or in upper axils, to 50 cm; calyx tube 3 mm, lobes 12 x 2 mm, lanceolate; corolla tube 15 mm, constricted below lobes, upper lobe 15 mm, lower 5 mm. Capsule 0.8 x 0.6 cm, cupular; seeds broad-elliptic.
