Reissantia indica (Hippocrateaceae / Celastraceae), a woody climber. Isn’t it Reissantia arnottiana with the larger leaves and longer samaras. I feel we need flower to confirm. But I think, R.indica the leaves are smaller. You may be right … But in R. grahamii (i am not aware of the sp R. arnottiana !), the leaves are broad with obtuse base and entire margin. Since the posted specimen has (comparatively) smaller leaves with cuneate base and serrulate margin, i think it is R. indica only.
Let’s hear from others too. I am very sorry … H. arnotiana and H indica are mentioned close to each other with few distinguishing characters in Gamble. Loeseneriella arnottiana (Wight) A.C. Sm. : Attachments (4). 2 posts by 2 authors. 10/07/2011

Please help me with maaderi balli OR madheri balli, name given for Loeseneriella arnottiana in Kannada.
Could it be
there could be other permutation / combinations.
Knowing the valid spelling will help.
Name for Reissantia indica syn. of Pristimera indica
is based on name of
dodda maderi balli … that is, larger loeseneriella, due to its close resemblance with Loeseneriella arnottiana .
For me it looks ಮಾದೆರಿ ಬಳ್ಳಿ is correct. Can you please provide the link(s) wherein these names have been mentioned so that I can check again. .
