The omnipresent plantain tree
While in Miao, we came across the plantain tree- both wild and cultivated, some of them with clusters of red fruits, some tall and some tiny, almost dwarf-like in different locations – the forest path, hill slopes, beside streams – they seemed to be everywhere.
Take a look at these pics which should give you some idea about picturesque Miao with its dense greenery, swiftly flowing river and unique bio-diversity.
