Portulaca oleracea

Portulaca oleracea has small yellow flowers, a wild plant often grown as vegetable. This is Portulaca x yubi
efi thread

It is often considered as Portulaca grandiflora ‘Yubi’. Some consider it to be a hybrid between P. oleracea (with which leaves resemble) and P. grandiflora (with which flowers resemble), and as such the hybrid is some times simply designated as Portulaca ‘Yubi’

Also often considered as P. umbraticola ‘Yubi’

Portulaca umbraticola Kunth ??

Interesting Portulaca – indiantreepix | Google Groups : 2 correct images as above.
I am uploading the photographs of a Portulaca, which after a lot of investigation turned out to be P. x Yubi. Some consider it to be a variety of P. oleracea, others a variety of P. grandiflora and still others as a hybrid between the two species. This seems to be a good material for any one interested in Biosystematic or Molecular studies.

Portulaca umbraticola i think

Portulaca pilosa, as I believe. It is a popular ornamental in summers!

Members are requested to comment on specific links of this cultivar. To me it looks different from P. oleracea with which it is linked by some websites:

There is at least one website which considers it a cultivar of P. umbraticola
