Kindly identify this ornamental herb growing in Delhi. Flowers in December

It may be Barleria species. In Hindi it is known as Gulabans.

Can this be Barleria repens?

efi page on Barleria repens

The Plant Uploaded may be Baleria repens

For me it looks like Ruellia species. It has got more resemblance to R. rosea

Possibly a Ruellia, cf. R. elegans cultivar

… are on the correct trail.. barleria flower’s inflorescence is different from the ruella’s ..
flower face is different
leaves are different shape etc
growth habit is different
this is wild petunia
whatever the species.. … idea comes the closest… May be … will help?

Thank you everyone. Is it a species of Barleria or Ruellia? Could it be Ruellia elegans?

Thank you … I, too, think it could be a cultivar of Ruellia elegans
