Oh my God what a name ‘mother in laws tongue’ why because it looks like a snake or is it because it looks sharp like a blade ha ha…. because the leaves are sharp like mother-in-laws tongue. I deliberately did not write earlier. Sensevarias are MONOCOTS, originating in Africa.
Big difference…
NOT all that have thorns or are sharp or are succulent are cacti…
I know confusing if you are just coming back to Botany… but slowly one begins to remember… so take heart…
and enjoy the process. Plant is in open in a Joggers Park. I do not know if it had flowered . 1st and 3rd images should be of Sansevieria trifasciata ‘Futura Robusta’ and 2nd one should be Sansevieria trifasciata ‘Laurentii’ as per Leafyplace.

Habitat: Garden. This is Dracaenaceae, Sansevieria trifasciata Hort. ex Prain, a widely grown ornamental. The cultivar with the yellow edged leaves is Sansevieria trifasciata ‘Laurentii’. Nice Catch … we call this as Mother in law’s toungue

Star-shaped flowers, six petals, white on upper surfaces, undersides light chartreuse. sparkle from dusk onwards, thrusting their petals outwards, with tips curled downwards and inwards, 6 elegant looking stamens and a long style with a small stigma. it is only for a night. By noon the next day, the flowers become listless. I could also see the pollinators foraging. The flowers had a lovely sweet fragrance which is only at night when flowers open

Pl. check and correct. I will have a relook. Meanwhile, the current name is Dracaena parva (N.E.Br.) Byng & Christenh. Yes, it does look like Sansevieria trifasciata.
