On careful searching I found important characters to differentiate Trichodesmas.
1. Stamens included Corolla tube longer than lobes, lobes shortly acuminate, not recurved…. ….T.inaequale.
1. Stamens exserted; corolla tube as long as, or shorter than lobes, lobes acuminate, recurved … 2

2. Glandular spots on corolla lobes; calyx hastate or cordate …. T.indicum
2. Glandular spots absent on corolla lobes; calyx rounded …. T. zeylanicum

Some species of Trichodesma


Trichodesma species. Please post a picture of the close up of the flower showing the arrangement of stamens, which is crucial. In T.indicum  the stamens are collateral and form a arrow head like structure.


Seems to be Trichodesma inaequale (FOI), leaves are stem-clasping AND the stamens do not protrude out.

I have not been able to ID this wildflower photographed in Wada area of Maharashtra.
It was upside down. The shots looking into the flower were taken but turning it towards the camera.
