Requesting to please ID this plant captured at a residential building compound in Mumbai growing wild in the rains in August 2013.

This is a species of Amaranthus possibly the Prickly Amaranthus [A.spinosa].

I don’t see any spines in your Amaranthus pics. So wait for confirmation.
