This was one of the most dominating herb i had seen at GHNP.. It is common here in Uttarakhand at timberline altitude.Beautifully captured.

I found this teasel on my way to Snowline on 27 August. The flowers were not yet open and I had made a mental note of the location to revisit it. Sadly, when I went again to check on it on 3 September, I found no trace of the plant (no leaves even!). I guessed a browsing animal had got to it before me. Whatever evidence I have suggests that it is (was) Dipsacus inermis. Please advise.
I hope to see another specimen in future and see the flowers.
