Validation requested for Crotalaria alata:
please find attached photos of Crotalaria alata found in Bettadapura hills, Piriyapattana taluk, Mysore District.
These were sighted above 100 ft asl on 11.12.2011, but none of the plant was in flower.
Requesting validation- as seen in photos, leaves are slight serratus; but floras doen’t describe it.

This herb was spotted near Mullayangiri peak (at alt. of approx. 5500 – 6000ft).
Family: Asteraceae
Date/Time: 25-01-2014 / 11:40AM
Habitat: Wild (On the grassy slopes at high altitudes)
Plant habit: Herb ( 20 to 30cm)
