Pedicularis siphonantha ??
I’m not sure it is as it didn’t have the long tube. Also it was in Ladakh not far from the Tanglang La which according to Polunin may be out of its range. I checked the height again and it was at 4900m
The habitat was a damp alpine meadow with Kobresia and Carex. Any other suggestions?
A second photo – a slight tube. This is at 5100m

Looks different from Pedicularis siphonantha D. Don
My guess is Pedicularis rhinanthoides
