Alysicarpus ¿ species ?
Hope the characteristics seen in these photos point to a species of Alysicarpus.
along Saphale Ghat on September 28, 2009 Alysicarpus species in eFloraofindia (with details/ keys from published papers/ regional floras/ FRLHT/ FOI/ Biotik/ efloras/ books etc., where ever available on net) same type of photos have already send for identification. I think it was A. racemosa. please match it with that Alysicarpus hamosus Thank you very much …; thank you very much … I realize the lack of pod pictures is making it difficult for ID.
Hopefully my future encounters with Alysicarpus plants gets me to finding their pods. …, will you like to consider A. scariosus in view of the densely ciliate rachis bearing subsessile flowers with densely ciliate calyx. Kindly identify this prostrate plant with round leaves, photographed in a forested part of the Aravali range south of Kishangarh, Ajmer District, Rajasthan. Indigofera species ? On checking did not meet any species in efi under Indigofera this plant seems to me like Alysicarpus species may be Alysicarpus hamosus
actually I am travelling with out any book, so I will be able to confirm it once I reached home.
even in the back ground Indigofera cordifolia is also present
It seems species of Alysicarpus This looks like Alysicarpus species. Pods are sweet. Either species vaginalis but not seems as heterophyllus. Indigofera has generally pink or red color flower. Kindly see in attached pic uploaded by you. The top plant you might be knowing is Indigofera cordifolia locally known as Baker (Small red flower at the base of leaf).
I find it closer to Alysicarpus hamosus as per images under: ID request- 29092012-PKA1 Some Alysicarpus sp… Alysicarpus hamosus Edgew. Identification, please. Crotalaria humifusa ??
