Nilgiris: Epiphytic Orchid for identification 031112MK03:

Please help me to identify this Orchid found on tree branches. The plant height is about 30 cm tall. What species of Aerides could this be? I have not observed any flowers in this.
Leaf: 15×2.5 cm
Fruits: 2.5cm long
Date: 22 October 2012
Place: Mukruti NP, Nilgiris

Altitude: 2300 – 2400 m asl

It is Aerides sp. in fruiting stage

yes its looks like Aerides species …..

Could be Aerides crispum.

This is very strange. The inflorescence is going up like Aerides ringens but the leaves match with A. crispa.

Let me think about it.
