do we get serrate margins on Miliusa leaves?


In Miliusa we will observe slight serrate-undulate ma’am, that’s clearly visible in matured leaves only than Juvenile.


Undulate yes, but I’ve never seen serrate margins!


Antidesma ghaesembilla?

To me it appears close.


I thought of it too, but old leaves do not usually have serrate margins and I think they are not pubescent.

I don’t know.

I have only the picture of a tree leaf and tree trunk
Please identify the species from Hastinapur Wildlife Sanctuary, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

Any smell when crush the leaf


I haven’t crushed the leaf.


The leaves resemble Casearia graveolens but the tree seems too big.


Miliusa tomentosa
Casearia graveolens leaves are glabrous.


That’s true.

Some of the leaves are slightly serrate/crenate on the margins so not sure about Miliusa.
