Please help me to identify this small herb found in the grasslands of high altitudes.
Plant height: up to 20 cm
Leaf: 1-1.5cm long
Flower: 1.5 cm long
Date: 25 Oct 2012
Alt.: 2400 m asl
Place: Western Catchement, Nilgiris, TN


From the flowers, this looks like a species of Andrographis.

Yes. It is.


Recurved leaf margin, erect habit, hirshute glandular hairs and the distribution area proves that the species is Andrographis lawsonii Gamble
