Ornamental Tree for ID : Pune : 171212 : AK-1: Saw this cultivated, ornamental tree in Pune, Maharashtra.
Name given by the gardener was Indian Christmas Tree. I could not find anything with this name on searching.
Theses trees can be found planted on Road dividers on main street going towards Hadapsar Pune.. I also found these trees planted in “Arrivals” section of International Airport Mumbai. They have grown beautifully. .

These are also planted in the Mumbai airport premises new as well as old.
Also on road dividers on Pune Hadapsar road in Pune city Mah.
I seem to have seen this tree growing wild along hanging bridge near Sahastralingam, Karnatak. However, needs confirmation.
