Saplings of forest trees in Mumbai ? : Where can we get saplings of forest trees in Mumbai?

Incidentally I too was looking around for saplings of forest trees. I ordered a few through Pansare Nursery, Karjat. www.pansarenursery.com.

I tried to contact Oikos Foundation in Pune (www.Oikos.in). Their webpage indicates very good collection of indeginous trees.

However the foundation seems to be defunct now as tel nos are unoperational.

If you are closer to the town, you can try Mahim Nature Park, they have a small section with local tree saplings.
