Junior Research Fellow in Orchid Ecology

The PG and Research Centre in Botany, Sacred Heart College, Thevara, Kerala invites applications from Indian nationals for the post of a Junior Research Fellow in a DST (Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India) funded project entitled “Spatial Distribution of Orchids in relation to their Habitat and climate in the Western Ghats, India” for a period of three years.

Qualification: Master’s degree in Botany/Zoology/Wildlife Biology/Forestry/Ecology or related discipline with minimum 55% marks.

Desirable: UGC-NET/Lectureship qualification, prior experience in ecological research and aptitude for fieldwork in difficult terrains.

Emoluments (consolidated): as per DST norms.

Candidate with strong aptitude for research will be encouraged for Ph.D. registration.
