You are all invited to the Book Launch of my fifth book belonging to the series ‘Nature’s Delights for Young Readers’ titled “Our Green Saviours” on Saturday 29th June at 5.30 pm at Granth Book Store. As the name suggests, the book contains stories about our diverse flora. Please see the attached invite for details.
I will be delighted if you and your friends, young and old, can all come.
Katie Bagli is a naturalist, teacher, writer… and has written a series of books on natural history [birds, marine life, insects, mammals]…..last being on plants.
I have gone through the book ‘Our Green Saviours’.. IT IS WELL ILLUSTRATED BY KATIES coloured DRAWINGS… and reveal a lot that is to be unfolded in the stories. Mangrove ones show the different types of roots…. Poem on seeds with graphic illustration show all about seed dispersal… a good guide for teachers.. cost is Rs 200…. paisa vasool… good gift for kids too.

I shall be holding a Book Reading from my recently launched book “Our Green Saviours”. As you may have guessed, it holds stories about our trees and is meant to initiate our young brigade into trees and inculcate a love for our greens. The reading is to be held on Friday, 26th July 2013 at 6 pm at
