I dont think so.
This is Liparis paradoxa.

Liparis paradoxa (Lindl.) Rchb.f.
At the The Plant List (2010). Version 1
Liparis paradoxa (Lindl.) Rchb.f. … is a synonym of … Liparis odorata (Willd.) Lindl. … please validate
along Phonda Ghat on 09 JUL 11

Liparis is a very tricky genus. I imagine why it has one leaf. At least two in paradoxa and more than two in L. nervosa. I will confirm after checking.

Many thanks … for validating the ID.
I hope … has some view(s) from other angle(s) to show.

Very good find.
Again no mention in Mah flora which mentions only one sp of Liparis that is L.nervosa

This cant be confirmed, but tentatively Liparis paradoxa.

… post from Phonda is here, identified as Liparis paradoxa.

Many thanks … for pointing to … post.
Since it is same sighting, I will take the ID to be Liparis paradoxa – now Liparis odorata.

It is my pleasure to present few images of Liparis nervosa (Orchidaceae

Habit: Herb

Habitat: Wild, terrestrial, Evergreen forest floor

Sighting: Chikmagalur, Karnataka, about 1200 msl

Date: 02-07-2016

Wonderful close ups.

No this is Liparis paradoxa. Leaf margin not wavy, leaf width is narrow. Most importantly, the lateral sepals are below the labellum, curved forward and bending down. In nervosa it will spread sideways like Sharukh Khan’s open arms 😛

Thanks … for your detailed description.
