Homonoia retusa?

Homonoia riparia

Sorry it may not be

Thank you very much for ID my plant. If it is dioecious, then resembles to Homonoia retusa, only number of leaf nerves having difference. Locals said that it is widely collected as a substitute for R. aquatica.

Yes, looks different as per images at
https://efloraofindia.com/2013/11/18/homonoia-retusa/
Also looks different from images at
https://efloraofindia.com/2011/03/31/suregada/
Anyway, appears to be some Euphorbiaceae member from Idukki, Kerala.

Thank you very much for sharing links. Please clarify is it dioecious or not.

An old man said it’s Malayalam names same to H. retusa mentioned in efi.

This looks like Homonoia only but I am unable to identify the species.

I think it is Homonia retusa although leaf apex is a little unusual.
Thank you … for putting all the images together. It is off-putting having to open one or just a few photos per email.

Homonia retusa female.

Yes, it appears so as per details in your paper:
