Seen at a plant nursery in Nasik.

Looking like a Lamiaceae member

Plectranthus prostratus …,

Rub the leaves slightly, it should give off a slightly minty smell, or like catnip. They are messy, dropping leaves and seeds into anything near and then taking over that pot. But easy enough to control In winter here, I bring them in and don’t water all fall, winter until they are outside the next spring. Mine gets some shade, but seems to do okay in full sun too. The leaves will color up if given enough light.

Thanks a lot to you and … for resurfacing abd id of my plant.

Please help me by identifying this potted plant

This looks like Plectranthus prostratus of Lamiaceae to me.

yes it is Plectranthus prostratus

Is it same as commonly known garden plant ‘Baby’s Tear’ used for making hanging baskets ?

Attached are pictures of Plectranthus prostrata captured at VJTI Flower Show, Mumbai in February 2015.

Requested to validate the ID.

The fleshy leaves indicate it is P. prostratus.
