This grass was photographed in BANDHAVGARH National Park.
It was standing in a small pool about 3 feet tall.
May I request you to please help me in ID this grass.


Not a grass. It is Cyperaceae. Kindly look Scirpus/Schoenoplectus group

Schoenoplectus mucronatus (L.) Palla (= Scirpus mucronatus L.) is with triangular stem and reported from Kodaikanal, is having wide distribution in the old world.
