Shrubs; branchlets silky pubescent. Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets elliptic to obovate, 7-4 by 0.5-3 cm, base rounded, apex rounded, truncate, mucronulate, lower surface silky pubescent, lateral veins faint. Racemes terminal, c.7 cm long. Flowers congested; bracts subulate; corolla lilac; stamens 9+1. Pods c. 3 cm long; sparsely pubescent. Flowering and fruiting: November-January
