National symposium on Dryland Birds

Gujarat Institute of Desert Ecology is a research and academic organization, located in Bhuj in Kachchh district of the Gujarat state. The institute is also known for its xcellence in ecological research and development in arid and semi-arid areas of Gujarat.

I am happy to inform you that our institute is organizing a National symposium on “Dryland birds: Strategy for Conservation and Management” at Bhuj on 9^th -10^th  January 2015. The symposium will be attended by the renowned ornithologists, ecologist, scientist and academicians of Gujarat as well as of the country. The Symposium brochure is attached for your kind perusal.

The last date of abstract submission and registration for the symposium has been extended up to 10th December 2014.
